Aqua Academy is a family run business which was started purely out of passion for fishing and boating. We enjoy sharing our experiences with others and get great reward from training people to become skippers, so that they too can enjoy the sport as much as we have over the last 20 years.
Services
Skipper training is the main aspect of our business. We train skippers from 16 years old onwards and, through our affiliation to NDSAA and SADSAA, can issue the following certificates:- CAT R(R), R-E, C, B and also issue surf launch endorsements.
Certificate of fitness
Every boat that uses South African waters, inland and at sea, has to have a certificate of fitness. This entails having a registered number and an annual inspection.
Equipment
Aqua Academy is able to supply all the safety equipment that you may require. We also sell fish finders and GPS’s. Services of outboards and fitment of equipment can be arranged on special request.
Affordability
Aqua Academy wants all their customers to be able to afford the equipment to keep them safe on the water. We have negotiated good prices with suppliers and want to keep things simple, hence we do email ordering. You email us, we source the equipment, confirm the order by deposit, we order the equipment and arrange delivery. This might take time, but this is how you save money.
The future
We want Aqua Academy to run like a well-oiled machine, so for the future we are planning a web site where you can get all your information and equipment.
