Aqua Academy skipper training was started in 2007 as a small part-time business to do what we love. Now it has grown into a full-time business involving our passion: boats.

We are based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, and offer training throughout the province. We also offer a wide range of services and a popular online marine store: www.aquajacks.com.
 
The Crew
 
Clifford Saville (known as Lemon) started Aqua Academy in 2007 to follow his passion for skippering and boats.

He passed his cat C skippers’ licence 16 years ago and has been skippering ever since, including working and skippering in Mozambique and Fort Lauderdale, USA. He has experience launching at the majority of launch sites in KwaZulu-Natal.
 
Before turning his full attention to Aqua Academy, Clifford worked as a petrol technician, which has played a big role in his ability to repair boats and engines.

3) SAMSA accredited Examiner R,E,C,B practical and theory with surf launch

	Graeme Saville (Strawberry )   Graeme has been involved in boating for many years and boasts a long list of achievements. He started his own business in 1969 with an Evinrude outboard agency and supplied boats and engines to the Natal Midlands community. Graeme was very involved with the Midmar Powerboat Club until the fishing bug bit. He joined the Pennington Ski Boat Club in the 1980s and has played a major roll in the club’s running ever since.   He has been skipper training for a long time and has served time on many committees, helping evolve ski boating as we know it.   Graeme resides in Pennington and his cottage is the venue for our Cat C Training.
	Sharon   Sharon is our friendly book keeper/ secretary/ recreation officer. 	Sean   Sean is our "deckhand". He helps with the training and general running of the business. An MCA skipper, he recently passed his cat C exam and will be one of our future lecturers.
	Siswe    Siswe is also a "deckhand". He helps us keep the tool and stock room in shipshape condition and is an expert at boat detailing.
